A.D.V.E.R.

Anomaly Detection and Verification Enforcer Robots also known as A.D.V.E.R.s are a common sight in major cities around the globe following the K'keeri Invasion of 2015.

Design

A.D.V.E.R.s have a stocky humanoid body, their recognition software is housed behind a faceplate that attempts to give the robots a friendly, smiling appearance.

History

A year after the 2015 Invasion and following increase in Deviant appearances alien-panic and anti-deviant sentiment was still in full effect, and robotics company Jormungandr Engineering creating the heavily armored and weaponed security robots with advanced DNA scanning software that could differentiate normal genomes from any atypical ones.

In 2022 a fleet of 6 A.D.V.E.R. units were shipped from the capital to Orca Point, Oregon, in order to protect the citizens from the increasing rate of mutant events in the city.

One unit was destroyed by a brawling Ben Blacksnake and Rolf Maxwell, but was able to call the other 5 from across the city in order to subdue and/or destroy the dinosaurs. Luckily the robots were tricked by the pair taking human form and hiding. At which point the A.D.V.E.R.s had completed their objective and were returned back to the capital
