Acepax is a massive red giant star in the Milky Way Galaxy . Ever since its discovery, it has mystified many people. Soon enough, Acepax became to be a very major star in Earth's vicinity, being a system dedicated to the production of spacecraft. The size of Acepax makes it severely foreboding, since it is near the end of its lifespan.
The sheer heat and size of Acepax has stretched to two major planets, named Azure and Xadridge. These planets are of the utmost care and protection by the United Federation of Star Systems, with them holding billions of inhabitants and having some of the most important shipyards in the Milky Way Galaxy .
Ever since Humanity became an interstellar species, spacecraft have always flooded the vicinity of Acepax, making it a hot spot for not only tourism, but for the Federation's military. The extent of Acepax's massive planetary system has also made it one of the most populated systems in the Via Sagittaria.
Acepax has had plenty of uses over history, such as aiding with the Confederacy in the Split of the Yohjan Confederacy. Long after the brutal period of anarchy and corporate feudalism, Acepax's shipyards became very useful for deterring pirates and restoring order. The ships that are made in the Acepax shipyards are only the most lucrative and advanced, singlehandedly helping Humanity in all of its wars and local conflicts. This almost makes Acepax an untouchable system, with defenses and safeguards being placed around the clock. A strict border policy between outsiders and Acepax is also in place, which squashes out a lot of potential crime.
Planets
Acepax holds eleven planets, all of which are used to their highest capacity. The innermost several planets are highly above average in temperature, and are mostly used for orbital barracks, habitats, and solar farms. However, the last few planets of the Acepax System are very well known, which is a result of their usefulness. There are also no gas giants in any part of the Arcturian System, which makes hydrogen a primary import from the corporations around the system.
Four of these planets, (Lastrao, Xadridge, Azure, and Kazuno) are fairly important in the fields of population and system income, since they are all suitable terras for colonization. A comprehensive list of planets and short descriptions are below:
| Name | Description | Unique Traits | Population |
| Uyama | Uyama is the first planet in the Arcturian System, and is also the hottest planet orbiting Acepax. Melting and boiling away for many millennia, Uyama was a prime spot for research of exoplanets, and held several prominent scientific areas. In modern day, Uyama is nothing short of a boiling planet, with hardly any population on its surface. | Uyama holds a global system of boiling oceans, which have deterred many potential colonists. The heat from Acepax and Uyama's thin atmosphere has made all dwellers live in orbit for safety. | 27,745,000,000s |
| Thohines | Thohines is the second farthest and hottest planet in the Acepax System, and holds a more stable climate than its hotter brother. There is a presence of hot metal clouds, a thicker atmosphere, and even a form of weather. However, global oceans of molten rock still scour the surface, making most life inhabit space stations around it. | While Thohines may seem boiled and dead, there is a large activity of shipyards and extended habitation. The surface of Thohines is also metal rich, and is able to help with ship construction. | 50,360,000,000 |
| Xerxes | Xerxes is the third farthest and hottest planet in the Acepax System, and holds a cooler, more inhabitable surface. With a kind of variation of warmer and cooler spots in its metal oceans, advanced mining rigs have been set up. These exist to extract the easily obtainable metals, and fuel the shipbuilding industry. There is also a more advanced system of weather, and a more dense atmosphere wrapping around Xerxes. | Xerxes is known for its higher quality mining stations, and its higher population in space stations. Some advanced colonies are also on the surface, and in the dense skies of Xerxes. | 73,004,000,000 |
| Segater | Segater is the fourth farthest and hottest planet in the Acepax System, and is a bit more habitable that the last planets. With the clouds of Segater being made of gas rather than metallic particles, sky cities are able to flourish without protection from those boiling particles. This planet is renowned for its ability in the shipbuilding business, since its oceans of magma are rather cooler than all other planets. | Segater has a lesser presence of sky cities and mining rigs, resulting from its lower temperature. Its atmosphere is also thick enough for sky cities to stay aloft, with less worry for the terribly hot clouds. | 89,742,000,000 |
| Dolomia | Dolomia is the fifth farthest and hottest planet in the Acepax System, being much more manageable than the previous four planets. On Dolomia, the magma oceans are non-existent, allowing for colonies to be much more widespread. However, the atmosphere of this planet is very thick, making cities in the skies remain prevalent. Mining is a bit harder, but is still easy from its thin crust. The boiling tail of this planet is a lot lesser, as well. | With its thick and almost soupy atmosphere, combined with the lack of magma oceans, Dolomia is much more popular with residents. There are many more constructs in orbit, and a considerably larger population than the planets before it. | 102,530,000,000 |
| Lastrao | Lastrao is the sixth planet from Acepax, and is one of the most famed planets in the entire system. With a deep and vibrant surface, combined with its more habitable temperatures, Lastrao is clearly a good choice for colonization. The atmosphere is also very manageable. Cities are commonplace and the population is high almost everywhere around here. | The cooler surface and beautiful landmarks have been major selling points for Lastrao. Cities and cultures are sprawling on the surface, living relatively normal lives. However, the gravity makes this place more uncommon for Humans. The dwarf moons all around the planet are very suitable areas for Asteroid and Comet Habitats as well. | 141,520,000,000 |
| Xadridge | Xadridge is the seventh planet from Acepax, and is one of the most prominent planets in the sytsem. From its violent and swirling hothouse clouds to its deep sprawling communities on its surface, Xadridge appears to be a home meant for everyone.
Xadridge was settled in the early days of Arcturian colonization, much like every other planet in the system. The atmosphere, temperature, and landscape of Xadridge is not too hostile. |
Xadridge has a multitude of ancient artifacts, which were discovered in the twilight days of colonization. Being proof of an empire long past, an offshoot science team scoured the stars. Looking for remnants of such empire, they found no leads. That was until the Commonwealth of United Economic Nations later concluded that these were of Sedruan origin. Cities on the surface of Xadridge are bustling and opulent, and the light gravity of Xadridge helps this as well. | 372,830,000,000 |
| Azure | Azure is the eighth planet from Acepax, and is the most well-known planet in the entire system. Azure exists right in Acepax's habitable zone, making it able to have liquid water on its surface. The water that does exist on Azure is plentiful, covering the surface in a global ocean many kilometers deep. Azure is also heavily populated, being the most inhabited planet in the Acepax System. | On the surface of Azure, there is an endless selection of cities on giant rafts, artificial islands, and endless cultures which inhabit its vicinity. Shipbuilding, tourism, and resource imports are very major around this planet, since it is the most populated world in the Acepax System. | 675,000,000,000 |
| Kazuno | Kazuno is the ninth planet from Acepax, and is relatively chilly compared to its previous planets. Extending far outward from the glow of its parent star, it is the first planet to be frozen over. Massive basins of ice, which are presumably past lakes, are all over the surface. It is said that as Acepax grows even more, these lakes could defrost and make the first lacustrine terra in the Acepax System. Kazuno also has one large icy moon, with its own frozen water deposits. | Cities are all around the surface, clinging to each other for warmth. Water is not much of a worry, considering that there is a plethora of ice deposits. In the last 200,000 years, Kazuno has slowly gotten warmer, suggesting that these ice deposits could melt. | 394,233,000,000 |
| Revis | Revis is the tenth planet of the Acepax System, and is even further out than Kazuno. Its very low temperatures are still favorable to the boiling ones, and as a result Revis has a rather high population. Much like Kazuno, Revis also has frozen lakes. However, it also has an array of dwarf moons, much like all other major planets in the Acepax System. Cities on this planet regularly avoid the ground, since it is airless and frigid. | Revis is one of the two major worlds in the Acepax System with a noticeable ring system. Small orbital constructs around these rings and in orbit are very common. This place is also regularly visited for its large amount of Asteroid and Comet Habitats, brought in by the many dwarf moons. | 254,476,000,000 |
| Oleama | Oleama is the final planet in the Acepax system, and is the coldest by a large amount. Oleama is very unique, since its temperature allows for lakes of hydrocarbon to flood the surface. There is also a very large and green-tinted ring system, which floods the sky with its color. These fancy attributes have made Oleama a very popular tourist destination, and fueled early colonization of the Acepax System. | With its unique pools of methane and large ring system, Oleama has become a primary spot for the outer Acepax System. The massive exports for hydrocarbons in its past set up the foundation for a dense planet. Currently, massive cities exist all around its surface, and even its only dwarf moon has been hallowed for a habitat. | 353,713,000,000 |
