Aetherisk

Overview

The Aetherisk are a Condevic-Amanoid race created by the ancient Seraphnim within one of their many powerful Forge Worlds; Optralith, in 89,000 TI (Time Immemorial). Originally constructed to be guardians to high-ranking members of the Seraphnim's hegemony, nearly each member of their race totally devoted to their given charge, lacking many individualistic qualities beyond it. Though holding the status of Poly-Metastability; meaning they were capable of fully sapient thought and reasoning, inherent programmed conditioning was implanted in each from their inception, in order to better serve their intended designs; intra-cultural homogenization further exasperating this condition.

Unlike the countless forms and variations thereof that defined the infinite constructed mechanical armies of the Seraphnim; the Aetherisk held an origin wholly unique to their own. Beyond the already rare gift of achieving the status of Condevi, the Aetherisk were solely children of on of the most powerful beings to ever exist; Serranna: then Golden Sovereign over the whole of the Seraphnim's Sovereign-Concord. She would create the Aetherisk from an extension of her very nature; crafting each using the blade Légateon, an ancient artifact gifted to her by her own creator and original Golden Sovereign; Vermeilaranth. Using the Typhonian's gift, she would extract from its Remnant power a polymorphic sentient mass catalyzed in an Amanoid form; further augmenting it with Vastralyte, (Seraphnim Hard-Light) and would continue this process for the remainder of their number.

These powerful figures were initially gifted to members of the Seraphnim aristocracy as a means to calm the rampant fears of assassination, which had gripped the Concord's governance at that time following the murder of then Sovereign's Word; speaker of the Golden Sovereign to the public. This event, perpetuated by an Ama'Edia, had plunged nearly all of Seraphnim into hysteria, as it was the first time a "lesser" Inomeni race had managed to find the means to kill one of their masters.

Notably; the Aetherisk were used en masse against the on-coming mass of endless Void known as the Void of Antaroth. While they stood little chance against the amorphous blackened horde of Acreation, they — alongside the Sanlagosa, would manage to stall the great galactic rot long enough to provide their Seraphnim masters time to deliver their solution. However; much of the species' members would fall to the Void of Antaroth in the process; ultimately giving their lives so that their creators may yet see another day.

After the launching of the Seraphnim's "Finality," Aetherisk then unmade at the time would come into being once again, after the Optralith Forge World was reactivated by the Typhonian Order in 140 EE and used as powerful mechanical foot soldiers in their war against the Ring Majestic. They'd ultimately be liberated from their servitude following Syx Corsage and Seven Novum's defeat and dismantling of the Typhonian Order; and the Aetherisk themselves would join the growing Great Majestic Convergence led by the Ring Majestic.
