Agatha Bates

Agatha 'Aggie' Bates is a Deviant from Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Her abilites are reminiscent of several frog species, including having toxic skin, increased jumping abilities and the ability to cling to walls

Personality

Since her Deviant awakening, Agatha has become a very reserved and shy person choosing to stay away from others out of the fear of accidentally poisoning someone.

History

Agatha was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where she was very popular at her school with other students as well as out of school with almost everyone her age.

Upon becoming a Deviant she accidentally poisoned, several friends, peers and adults. Thankfully no one got seriously hurt, just very sick for a few days. But nonetheless soon a mob had formed wanting Agatha to be sent away.

And for her own safety, her parents thought that would be best for her.

They sent her to the Aetis Academy, where she was readily accepted. She had a special suit made to safely cover most of her body and prevent mucous from getting everything wet, allowing her to wear clothes that wouldn't get soaked and safely interact with other students.

Despite being surrounded by people who had powers of their own, Agatha isolated herself in her room, terrified she might accidentally kill someone with a touch. Neglecting her physical needs, such as hygiene, eating and exercise. This worried staff, especially Manaia Kahurangi, who tried several schemes to get her to open up before trying something drastic. Signing her up to be a member of the newly formed Aeon Force.

Powers and Abilities

Powers

Toxic Skin - Agatha's skin produces toxins almost constantly, similar to those found in the skin of the Golden Poison Arrow Frog (Phyllobates terribilis), so if someone makes contact with her skin they run the risk of becoming ill or even dying.
Increased Jumping Ability - Agatha's muscle fibers developed an almost elastic property which allows her to jump over 24 feet from a standing position.
Wall Clinging - Agatha can stick to vertical surfaces or even upside-down using microscopic pads on her fingertips and feet

Relationships

Valentino Myxici - Agatha and Valentino are very close, especially due to the fact he's one of the only people she can touch without causing them to pass out, and her being unbothered by his mucous production, considering she also produces a layer.
