Alber Sullivan

A former scientist at the Laramidian Science Institute; Alber Sullivan is a Saurornitholestes who, once working on the Cryo-pod program with Victor Veloci and Joan Moynihan, was sent the 21st century following the KPG mass extinction.

History

Born 20 years prior to the impact, Alber was raised in a typical well-off family for his species, doing well in school and developing a deep passion for engineering. During his childhood he experienced several home issues, resulting in his struggle with attachment and building healthy connections. 9 years before the Impact, he was accepted by the LSI to be a engineer in Cryo-pod and preservation Technology, here he met others working in the facility such as Victor and the Umbra Siblings. Things changed on his second year where he met Theira Langston to whom he developed an unhealthy one sided love for, whilst she only acted in friendliness. This is also where he developed a hatred for Zet, whom developed a relationship with Theira, and eventually would become married. Despite his unhealthy delusions, he continued his work, developing state of the art Cryo-pods capable of incompressible levels of preservation, this work would soon save the lives of him and several of his coworkers as the asteroid would soon change everything.

Alber survived into the present in the same way as the other 6 at the institute, but unfortunately for him, Lagine knocked him over during the panic, meaning he was a fraction of a second behind the rest, resulting in the impact's shockwave ripping the skin from his body before he reached safety, whilst also leaving various other injuries. As if that wasn’t enough, his pod wasn’t opened with the others either, leaving him in stasis for even longer, before finally, 20 years after the others were released, he walked the earth again. While the ooze he was drenched in kept him alive, it didn’t do anything for his appearance, further warping and contorting his body into what looked like a living corpse. He doesn’t remember everything about who he is but he remembers (or at least thinks he does) that Zet and Victor mistreated him and that he loves Theira and she loved him back. Now he thinks he must rescue her from a life with a male she doesn’t love

In reality, Alber is a total incel , whom Zet, Theira, Victor and even Joan, Penny and Antonio treated amicably. Theira is not interested in him in the slightest, feeling fairly uncomfortable around him, even before his mutation.

Personality

Alber acts like your stereotypical incel, an inflated ego, quick to irrational bouts of anger, and a bad case of main character syndrome. He has few if any noble or likeable traits.
