Overview
Amaranth stands as the most predominant and inherent facet of existence within Ambrosia, and its most powerful of Sources; comprising the totality of its structure, function, and metaphysical narrative. It is the singular force through which the entire Line to the End flows, forming the foundational through-line of all things brought into being within Imagindarium's Creation.
Brought forth from the enduring ideal of Imagindarium; the creative intent which authored all reality, Amaranth is the method by which its "Ultimate End" may be made manifest within existence. It serves as both the structuring force of Creation, and as the active causal chain through which all things are drawn toward finality.
Within Ambrosia, Amaranth manifests both as a metaphysical force, and also as a visual and spatial constant; as its influence forms both the internal structuring and external appearance of the Realm, often expressed as a spiraling, luminous Amaranth hue radiating across cosmic boundaries.
Predominance of Amaranth
In Ambrosia: all phenomena are bound inescapably to Amaranth, defining its inherent existence in full as the active, permeating essence that informs identity, structure, and purpose alike, making the Realm the clearest and most concentrated manifestation of Amaranth’s enduring truth in Creation's totality.
It is within the Trilateral Realm of Ambrosia that Amaranth reveals itself upon the face of Creation in its most complete and unrestrained form. Here, Amaranth does not linger as a background current nor whisper through the unseen strata of reality; it stands unveiled, sovereign, and absolute. The entire Realm is composed of an infinitely condensed swath of boundless Amaranth, shaped and refined into a finite, structured harmony.
Summary of Amaranth's Origin
Alongside serving as its defining feature, Amaranth is the force from which Ambrosia originated and to which it is ultimately defined by. In the Time Before Time, the great Amaranth Conception resounded across the face of Uncreation, forged from the intent of Imagindarium within its sphere inside the "A’th."
From this first Amaranth Contravene, the force of Amaranth expanded outward across an undefined and endless expanse of the Cosmos, giving rise to the realm known as Typhonia; Ambrosia in its primeval state. This moment also delineated the conclusion of the Age of A’th, initiating the Time Before Time; the era wherein Typhonia, as the Trilateral Realm, would come into formation.
"Finite" Amaranth
Typhonia remained the prevailing structure of reality throughout the entirety of the Time Before Time, continuing into the Dawn Epoch, and further enduring as the dominant form through the Dawn Epoch's own successor era; the Great Age Typhonia. Across the full span of these eras, Typhonia persisted as the cosmic expression of Amaranth in its most expansive state. Upon the conclusion of the Great Age Typhonia, however, the infinite expression of Amaranth did not diminish, but instead, underwent a condensation into a finite ontological form. This act of compression gave rise to the structured, spiral-like cosmic harmony that defines Ambrosia in its present state as the "Ambrosia Galaxy."
Despite the diminished state of Amaranth in terms of ontological spatial immensity, it remains the sole defining force of all existence within Ambrosia; the most omnipresent and overwhelmingly dominant presence comprising every aspect and facet of the Galaxy. In Ambrosia, Amaranth is not merely present; it is the very architecture of existence, the radiant spine of the Realm’s form and purpose. Every vista, every law, every breath of being within Ambrosia is a declaration of Amaranth made manifest, the clearest and most potent revelation of Imagindarium’s enduring will.
Amaranth's Nature
Beyond serving as the metatextual through-line within Ambrosia, Amaranth manifests in a literal and tangible form throughout the Realm. Its presence is not confined to abstract principle or hidden structure; rather it reveals itself openly within the very body of the Galaxy. Following its condensation, Amaranth assumed the form of a vast, spiraling vortex; an infinite current of pure narrative energy made to inhabit a singular, finite space. The outward appearance of Ambrosia reflects this transformation: a celestial structure of radiant complexity, endlessly swirling with visibly apparent Amaranth essence. What was once boundless now moves within boundaries, yet loses none of its immensity.
As a result, the entirety of galactic space within Ambrosia is rendered wholly inescapable; no entity bearing any form of coherent structure may exist within it without immediate dissolution. Any such manifestation is instantaneously unmade, subsumed into the endless, ever-churning swath of Amaranth energy that composes the Realm. The overwhelming density of Amaranth leaves no space for independent form or function to arise.
Yet despite this seemingly inescapable condition, exceptions do exist; as evidenced by the manifestation of entities that remain conceptually distinct from the very Amaranth from which they were born. Their continued presence within Ambrosia is made possible through a phenomenon known as the Horizon-Effect: a metaphysical boundary, or "bubble," generated by the Source of Horizon, forged within the Celestial cores of the Stars that anchor the galaxy’s vast structure and shape its mythic lineage.
These stellar nexuses create localized zones in which the otherwise overwhelming intensity of Amaranth is momentarily tempered and ontologically dispersed; still infinitely present, but no longer infinitely condensed into a single, absolute point. Within these comparatively rare pockets of stabilized force, coherent existence is permitted to emerge and persist, suspended within the delicate and ever-precarious balance of the Horizon-Effect.
As a result, Ambrosian space within physical reality is composed of two distinct layers. The first is known as System Space; the regions in which Amaranth is sufficiently dispersed to allow the formation of coherent worlds. Within these zones, the intensity of Amaranth is subdued enough for structure, identity, and life to manifest without immediate collapse. Here, the Horizon-Effect maintains a protective boundary, shielding existence from the infinitely dense and overwhelming force that defines the rest of the Realm.
Alongside being a defensive barrier, the Source of Horizon establishes a metaphysical containment that renders all things within irrevocably bound to its domain. Any entity or object that attempts to breach the Horizon’s threshold is not destroyed as they would be without its presence, but is rather redirected. The space within is self-looping; any motion directed outward is met with a seamless reversal, in which the traveler finds themselves emerging from the opposite edge of the boundary, oriented in the reverse direction of their departure.
The second layer is known as Interstellar Space; the undeterminably vast regions between systems where Amaranth remains in its infinitely condensed state. Within these expanses, the force of Amaranth is so overwhelmingly concentrated that no coherent form, structure, or entity can exist apart from it. It is an absolute field of ontological saturation, where the presence of Amaranth is not the notion of dominance but rather that of absolute Totality; leaving no space for anything to endure that is not wholly of itself.
Amaranth in the Galaxy
Awareness of Amaranth
Despite its seemingly overwhelming presence, Amaranth remains largely unacknowledged by the modern collective of the galaxy’s inhabitants; a condition ultimately born of threefold reasoning. First, though Amaranth is more concentrated within Ambrosia than in any other realm of Creation, its overt and outward manifestation is significantly diminished when compared to its primeval expression during the era of Typhonia. Where once it blazed unrestrained across the face of reality, now it moves with restraint, woven into structure rather than overwhelming it. This softening of its visible presence has led many to overlook the force that underlies all, mistaking subtlety for absence.
The second issue lies in the sheer passage of time since the age when Amaranth was openly known and widely recognized. During the climactic era of Dyad Rule, when the progeny of the ancient Typhonians — the Inomeni races — held dominion over what had become the finite structure of Ambrosia, knowledge of Amaranth was deeply embedded in the hearts and minds of nearly all. However; with the sudden and catastrophic unleashing of Finality, the Inomeni were instantaneously erased, and with them vanished the clarity of their understanding. What remained was scattered, fading into fragments of myth, whispered symbols, and buried subtext; a sad remnant echo of truth lost to the slow erosion of time.
And the final is in the deliberate obfuscation of Amaranth’s truth by the very Line to the End which requires this obscurity so that its guiding intent remains unseen and unfelt. The necessary concealment, for the guiding intent of Imagindarium — and ultimately Amaranth itself — must remain unknown on a large scale in the modern era, as the present ages holds greater importance than any era before it; by an incalculable margin.
Misunderstandings of Amaranth
With Amaranth rendering itself ultimately less apparent within the Galaxy, a host of misnomer concepts have arisen to fill the metatextual void left in its wake. In the absence of its visible presence, mortals have constructed substitute frameworks through lesser narratives and incomplete theories, all of which to simply explain the nature of the galaxy and their place within it.
The most predominant of these substitute concepts is predominantly known by the simple term of "Athoms."This term represents a subtle metaphysical echo, a reflection of Amaranth perceived dimly by the observer. Unlike Amaranth, which operates across all levels of conceptual existence, these "Athoms" are inherently physical in nature. They share the same dynamic hue as Amaranth, creating the illusion of parity, yet they function on a far more limited ontological scale.
Athoms serve as the foundational building blocks specifically for the Galaxy’s cosmic dust; the luminous framework that binds its celestial geometry. This stands in contrast to Celestial Matter, from which stars, worlds, and all contained therein's own forms are shaped. It is this distinction that accounts for the differing appearance, structure, and form between the cosmic dust and the tangible bodies of the celestial expanse within the boundaries said Athoms composite themselves into.
