The third-brightest star in Aylathiya, Angreifer, punishes its children with harsh radiation. Three of Angreifer's innermost satellites spiraled into their parent, leaving the system with eight worlds. Large sails take advantage of its harsh stellar winds to cheaply position stations at any distance from the star. Space pollution is not a concern around Angreifer, as its winds are powerful even at its frigid outer worlds.
Angreifer's denizens take after their sun in both heat and ferocious expansion; the Orcubor and the Ohmados call this system home. Without much in the way of ice, water, or any common volatiles in the inner system, both species have turned to interstellar cooperation to secure these resources. The Gohbrin Global Ministry lays claim to the innermost worlds. A major member of the Greater Martial Consilium, these worlds punch well above their weight in the Angreifer system. In the outer system, the Commonwealth state of Vaspujian monopolizes Angreifer's scarce ice. Between these two powers, the middle worlds are something of a battleground in the legal world parallel to the real one.
Angreifer orbits a distant barycenter with the white dwarf Hearts.
Planets
Tadadore

Tadadore is an unusual gas giant still clinging onto an atmosphere despite its proximity to Angreifer. Much like Gohbrin, what remains is mostly heavier elements, including silicon and iron, which Tadadore boasts clouds of. At the highest cloud decks, the temperature is cool enough for Tadadore's magnetic field to interfere, creating countless tiny magnets and intense lightning storms. Tadadore is quite large for its mass; its large mass causes it to be quite "puffy."
Gohbrin

Gohbrin, home of the Orcubor, is a lava world orbiting Angreifer. Despite seas of liquid silicon dioxide covering most of its surface, Gohbrin boasts the highest population of worlds around this star. What few materials can withstand its temperatures form scattered islands. Ecosystems cling to asteroids floating in Gohbrin's seas. Given silicon dioxide's much higher surface tension, even large organisms can skitter across its surfaces. Over the years, the Orcubor gently placed iron-rich asteroids into Gohbrin's seas. While serving as a store of resources, they also sink, offering a stable place to build cities. Gohbrin holds the questionably enviable position as the hottest continuously inhabited world in Aylathiya.
Gohbrin has one moon—Xanthra. Gohbrin orbits Angreifer in nearly the same orbit as Tadadore, dragged along by the gas planet. Tadadore always appears in the same spot in the night sky as a small disk. This makes Gohbrin something of a satellite to the gas planet, but the residents of Gohrbin never call their world a moon.
Xadio

Xadio is a strongly-magnetic gas planet home to the Ohmados. Organisms in Xadio's clouds are made up of magnetic monopolar particles that carry significant electric charges. Arguably the entire ecosystem is one organism that has evolved intelligent life to use Thaumaturgy to supplement its ecosystem. When Ohmados leave Xadio, they "wake up" and immediately form an ego. The same is true for non-intelligent elements. Xadio has significant amounts of pure metal in orbit, suggesting an ancient civilization that may have created this very improbable hive-like ecosystem. Few live on Xadio, but its four major moons host five billion Ohmados and over one billion others. The Commonwealth province of Avolast controls Xadio.
Xadio's four moons—Aetherisynth, Lyrithiya, Wolta, Ghanacht
Vignette

Vignette is a rapidly terraformed world whose rich oxygen atmosphere appeared in a single generation, combusting its atmosphere, eating away at its mountains, and neutralizing its lakes. Gran Rubedo created a super-organism to aid in its efforts fighting Ma'eau. While Ma'eau did lose the planet, the result was a purple mat of vegetation covering the entire surface. A single plant, and a host of invasive animal species, dominates the planet. This planet was just one in a series of worlds rendered useless by Gran Rubedo, but its temperate climate and breathable atmosphere has promoted a small amount of settlement where the vegetation is less dense.
Vignette has no moons.
R'Velt

A gas giant settled primarily by Naidarans, R'Velt's population was high enough to earn a province in the Commonwealth of Aggregate Aylathiya rather than remaining as simple federal territory. Nallanthiya controls this planet and its moons. R'Velt has numerous bases from Angreifer's major players, in particular Vaspujian who tirelessly lobbies to gain control. From deeper in the gravity well, Gohbrin's military vigilantly guards its claims on R'Velt's accumulated asteroids. Unlike Vaspujian, whose interference is an obnoxious domestic one, Gohbrin's interference can cause an international issue for the Commonwealth.
R'Velt has one major moon—B'Aran—and a large cohort of minor satellites.
Rhamnousia

More like a comet than a proper planet, Rhamnousia is one of the largest bodies in the Igolath Belt, a ring of debris around Angreifer kept as such by R'Velt's and Ivathiya's gravity. Heavily militarized, this world is one of many stations Vaspujian zealously holds onto. The Igolath belt fuels Vaspujian's resource-hungry economy and is essentially the only thing keeping it competitive. Thus, Rhamnousia has the highest number of guns per capita in Aylathiya, all of which are owned by the military.
Be'onne

Be'onne is an tiny icy dwarf planet and military base for Vaspujian. With only a few administrators calling the planet home, most of its military craft are remotely-controlled due to its relative isolation and eccentric orbit. Be'onne's surface has more craters from bomb tests than it does from natural impacts.
Ivathiya

The beating heart of Vaspujian's economy and cultural center of Skladyvat the universe over, Ivathiya is a demonstration of pure tenacity. The frigid gas giant had been overlooked by all previous civilizations around Angreifer. Far from the rest of the system, its value only became apparent when the inner system's demand for volatiles increased. Its small radius, mostly because much of its atmosphere has condensed, conceals its particularly high gravity. Ivathiya has accumulated dozens of icy moons which now support Vaspujian's command economy and over half of its population. Once a point of shame, Ivathiya is now a source of pride for the Skladyvat and has inspired colonization of similar remote ice giants.
