Anna Hay

Anna Hay, better known by her heroic alter-ego Dr. Poison is a powerful psychic and an eventual member of the Invincible Squad

HISTORY

Anna was born in 2000 in the United States. She was born with psychic powers inherited from her mother, who was secretly the most powerful psychic in this world, born with powers such as the ability to see the dead (mentally connecting with an alternate dimension known as the Underworld) and telekinetic powers.

Anna inherited these powers, but since her mother hid the fact that she was psychic herself, Anna had no one to teach her, and learned her powers on her own.

As a very young child, just after her powers were activated, Anna was kidnapped by an organization that conducted research on her, trying to discover more about the psychic gene and how if affected the brain. She was experimented on for months until her mother rescued her and they fled. The trauma of that experience left her with intense PTSD, and as a defense mechanism she blocked out those memories,, so she is unable to remember anything about it including the identities of those who had done those experiments on her. However, they sometimes manage to creep back into her subconscious as nightmares about those events, linger at the very edge of her consciousness.

After that, the organization continued to search for Anna, so she and her mother moved. In the following years, the organization continued to search for them, so to protect her, they moved periodically. Her mother didn't tell her it was because of the organization, pretending it was because of her job. In one of the villages they moved to, she met Raemon, a demon whom she gave food to, immediately earning his eternal gratitude. Since then, he follows her everywhere, and although he's usually more of a nuisance, he does help.

When Anna and her mother moved to Figsville, she ended up meeting Eric, Carl, Zeta, and Scarlett, and they became friends, later joining the Invincible Squadron. She is not a founding member (the original quartet are Diamond Boy, Zeta, Mouse Man and Scarlet Hand), but she joined the group with the second round, alongside Power Boy.

Anna eventually discovered that her mother was an alien who had lived on Earth since the dawn of humanity, responsible for bringing the psychic gene to Earth, nd her father turned out to be a supervillain named Dr. Poison, who was the nemesis of another vigilante named Stickman. After discovering this, Anna also adopted the alias Dr. Poison, to prove that, regardless of her roots, she could choose to be a good person

Eventually, Anna began dating Diamond Boy, and in the future, they would marry and have three children.

PERSONALITY

Anna, having been on the move all her life, has no friends and is quite introverted. Furthermore, although she doesn't remember it, she still suffers from the traumas from the experiments she underwent, though the more she discovers her mother's secrets and come to terms with her past and her powers she gains more confidence, which is helped by the presence of the Invincible Squad.
