The Araneans or Spiderfolk are a race of mammal-spider-like aliens native to the planet Dendronia.

History

Native to the rainforests of Dendronia, small populations of Spiderfolk were brought to Earth around 3000 BCE as part of an intergalactic slave trade. They managed to survive on the planet by taking refuge in various uncharted locations. Though exposure to Primordial Ooze has given some of these aliens the ability to morph into human or human-like forms. They have inspired many myths and legends across the world.
