Sandplankton

Arashasahrah is a habitable planet within the trinary star system Trebreh. It orbits the two main suns, Trebreh Prime and Trebreh Secundus. The third sun, a dim red dwarf on the border of brown dwarf is named Trebreh Minor, and orbits far beyond the two central suns. With a 13-day rotation period, even the day/night cycle on Arashasahrah is brutal. One side of the planet is scorches by the central suns, while the other endures a frigid night.

Geography

Arashasahrah is a harsh, hot world dominated by sandy deserts and rocky badlands. Thin strips of vegetation persist on the poles of this world, with sparce patches of scrubland dotting the enormous equatorial desert. Boiling hot springs and inhospitable salt lakes take up most of the bodies of water on the surface, leaving habitable water confined to the cooler polar regions. Volcanoes dot the planet's surface, and massive sandstorms chisel away at mountain ranges and sculpt large oceans of dunes in the turbulent equatorial region.

Sapient Races

Arashasahrah has no native sapient races, but populations of Sastreians and Suchians, both desert-dwelling specialists, have formed colonies on the planet's vast deserts.
