The World Tree Phenomenon
The World Tree Tachyonically (Known as the Bifrost) connects the various God-Realms (Asgard, Nibiru, Aaru, Topan etc.) to Earth. It is tethered to the physical location of Earth and moves around the universe with the planet. The native Ratatoskrians are able to traverse the World Tree without assistance of technology and interacted with the many races of the realms they encountered.
Sapient Races
The Ratatoskrians are the only sapient denizens of Axis Mundi, these squirrel-like people are able to travel the tachyonic passageways without the assistance of any technology as well as create portals connecting any two points on the world tree.
Wildlife
Axis Mundi is the place where the gods that managed to survive Ragnarok, took the souls of the many gods killed during the war in order for them to be reincarnated in Kaiju
