Overview
Bellenx (RSC 8476-5-4-507-40 4) is the fourth planet from its star, Rath, in the Small Magellanic Cloud (known as the Half-Sky Belt to the natives). Bellenx orbits a K5.3 V Orange Dwarf at a distance of 0.32 AU. It completes a full orbit every 78.196 days, but its rotational period is much longer — approximately 1.285 years. This results in half of the planet being in darkness for 3 years, while the other half remains in sunlight.
Bellenx has five dwarf moons:
- **Brackeh**
- **Ilt**
- **Paris**
- **Packue**
- **Pelletus**
The planet’s gravity measures 1.2213 g, with a mass of 1.4046 Earth masses and a diameter of 1.0724 Earth diameters. Despite the planet’s surface temperature averaging at a warm 35°C, organic multicellular life thrives across the planet’s diverse ecosystems.
Inhabitants

The native inhabitants of Bellenx have a strong attachment to their religion, which has endured through their Intergalactic Golden Age. Their religious composition includes:
- 97% Bellenx Creationism
- 2% Atheist
- 1% Other religions
The capital city of **Sh'Rath** is situated on an island within an inland sea. Approximately 30% of the planet's resources are ritually sacrificed into this sea as part of religious observances.
The Bellenx have a **global absolute monarchy**, the only known spacefaring species to maintain such a political system. They have established a unified planetary government and have colonized all five of their moons. Plans are underway to expand to an extra-planetary colony within the next few decades.
However, the Bellenx have yet to join the **Local Group Alliance of Mutual Protection** (LGAMP), leaving many details about their political and economic systems unknown.
