The Celvarians are a late type-0 civilization that live on Celvar, known for getting into constant fights with the Human Settlers, as well as being ruled by one huge megacorparation, called the Kelvest Corp. Celvarians are mammalian creatures, having fur on their arms and feet, as well as a grey skin on their head, body, and appendages. they have 2 fingers and a thumb on each hand, and 5 toes arranged in a pyramid shape, with the center toe being the largest.they also have no hair on their heads. they are omnivorous, but prefer meat. they are quite aggressive, attacking any human entering one of their cities.

Celvar is a class M planet with life, notable for being in a globular cluster, and in a system with another habitable, desert world. the Confederacy of Borealis has colonized the world, but it has a sentient late type-0 civilization. wars have broken out between the two, mostly because of the Celvarians, the humans' name for this species, wants to force the Confederacy to leave the planet. these attacks are futile, however, and the Confederacy of Borealis pays little attention to them. The Kelvest Corp. is run by the Celvarians, a mammalian species from Celvar. they have almost utilized all the resources of their homeworld and are trying to mine other worlds. they have also colonized another habitable world in their system, a Desert world. they constantly attack Human outposts, and kill any Humans entering their cities. this means negotiation is impossible. their empire is a late Type-0 civilization, expected to reach type-1 in the next 100 years
