Cetus Federal Republic
OVERVIEW
The Cetus Federal Republic, a seceding entity from the Martina Technocratic Republic, has established itself in the Tau Ceti star system and is progressively extending its influence to include the Yz Ceti, Menkar, and Diphda stars. Their territorial dominion spans across the entire Cetus Constellation. Expressing strong animosity towards the Solar System, they have gone to the extent of adopting a new time format, diverging from the standard Terra time, based on the rotational period of the pulsar PSR J0108−1431 within the Cetus Constellation when observed from Earth.
Despite an invitation from the Settled Exoplanets Alliance to join the union, the Cetus Federal Republic opted to remain an observer state, declining the opportunity to become a full member
The nucleus of the Cetus Federal Republic is centered in the Capitol Planet, the heart of political and administrative affairs. The Cetus Federal Republic boldly asserts its territorial claim over the entirety of the Cetus Constellation, even though its direct control extends over only few major stars: Tau Ceti , Yz Ceti, Menkar and Diphda
Yz Ceti, in particular, stands as the industrial powerhouse and key bastion of the Federal Republic. This star system serves as a pivotal hub for the Republic's manufacturing and production capabilities, solidifying its position as a formidable force in the region.
The Settlers during first years on Tau Ceti have redirected all their efforts on terraforming the Atmosphere of Tau Ceti making it as breathable as possible for future settlers and generations
Cetus Federal Republic appears in "Dragon's Fall", "The Forgotten Planet"
