One of the later colonies of the Th'ega Federation's Mass Colonisation Initiative - which saw dozens of worlds explored and colonised -, Colviwei is a major agricultural world and transport hub in the small nation. Up to 54% of domestic food production in the Federation can be found on this Kavla-like world. Currently, approximately 16 billion Th'ega call this oceanic world home. As the Th'ega Federation's main transit hub, Colviwei offers flights to the three Th'ega Core Worlds as well as many far-flung colonies on the edge of their territory.

Geography

A single colossal ocean encompasses the surface of the world, hiding the desolate surface under as much as one hundred kilometres of water. Prior to the Th'ega bringing thousands of species of fauna and flora to the world, no extant life was discovered, though fossils in the planet's southern hemisphere suggest the planet had a thriving ecosystem as little as a couple hundred thousand years ago. It's thought a mass extinction event occurred, killing off all life on the planet as well as causing it to flood.

Urban Geography

Similar to many other Th'ega worlds, the bulk of Colviwei's 16 billion-strong population is located in clusters of iceberg cities dotted across the world's oceans. As a major supplier of food to the Th'ega Federation, as well as the NGC 5986 cluster in general, large amounts of agricultural infrastructure are present on the planet, such as vast hydroponic facilities, some visible from orbit. The largest open-air farm on the planet (used to grow crops native to various terrestrial planets such as Earth, Edana, and others) has a surface area of roughly 470km2, giving it a size comparable to the entire Balkan peninsula on Earth.
