Commonwealth of Golr're

The Commonwealth of Golr're (abbreviated to CoG) is a very militaristic expansionist nation, expanding outwards at any cost. It is located in the Tarmalyula Galaxy, reaching from the far tip of the Remone Arm, almost to the core. Its capital, Golr're, is located orbiting a yellow giant star on the tip of the arm. It is closely allied with the Democratic Commonwealth of Aurora.

History

The Commonwealth of Golr're was founded on the world of Golr're, in the year 9 453 CE, from the species Iyulo. Since then, it has gotten into many minor scurmishes with other civilizations because of its policy of endless expansion, but it is not super militaristic. It was involved with the Succession of Tarmalyula, the worst war that has ever rocked the galaxy since the end of the first Mirror War.

Structure

The CoG is a Oligarchy, with a few individuals at the top of the chain of command wielding absolute power over the state and its people. Its chain of command is as follows:

High Hegemon(s)

The High Hegemons (or in a time of crisis, High Hegemon) are the absolute rulers of the state, wielding absolute power over the doings and dealings of the nation.

Low Hegemons

The Low Hegemons are the back people, the people who make sure that the nation ruins smoothly and efficiently, without having to do any of it themselves.

State Directorate

The State Directorate is kind of like a senate to assess the doings of the Hegemons, and see if they need to be removed before their 30 years in power is up.

Colony Administration

The Colony Administration are the people who manage and rule the colonies of the CoG. They manage the recourses efficiently, and are very powerful on their world.

Planetary Region Governemnt

The Planetary Region Governement is the lowest form of governement, only controlling with partial power a specific area of a specific world.

The CoG is located from the tip of the Far Remone Arm, down through to halfway through the Central Remone Arm. It shares no border with any nation, and is expanding at a rate of ten light years per month.
