A sub-life taxon used to describe all the species which originated from the now extinct ancient organism Confuryx as well as from it's descendant symbiotical fusion with Condemnastyx - the fusion also known as Botubilbanyx. It has a secondary name, reserved for the pop-science literature - Sparkspecks. This name refers to the size and appearance which the original precursors posed.
Fitting for a precursor organism, Sparkspeck is simple and is capable of dividing quickly. This trait is shared in at least majority of the multicellular species which have descended from Sparkspecks in the form of the growth and development of their body tissues. The trait of having fanciful colouring though has been receded in quite a lot of descendants in favor of having a colouration which masks them against the environment.
