Corax

Corax is a Void Island located in the Voidsea, within the Sky River. It has become an adopted homeworld for the Argenravis Kinde. It is a member of the Cosmic Union.

The world was terraformed at some point during the Void Age, but it appears that the original settlers either left, or did not survive the Technopocolypse. Ruins of these original settlers can still be found. Regardless, Corax maintains an atmosphere and wildlife, which helps it to survive, despite it's distance from it's local star.

It is covered in large forests and mountain ranges - And to many Kinde, it's surface is pitch black. Much of the wildlife on Corax does not reflect light at all, allowing for better camouflage, and further contributing to this darkness. The Argenravis however, have excellent eye-sight in the dark, making this not an issue for them. Visitors to the world often have to create their own light sources, or have Night vision equipment to allow them to see.

Overwhelmingly, the majority Kinde here are the Argenravis - But the world is home to some who choose to live there - Usually political refugees from other Spheres seeking protection from the Cosmic Union. While far from an ideal world for them, they are all but guaranteed protection here - Corax is difficult to find, and even if one can find it, finding any refugees, or even proving that they are there in the first place, is next to impossible.
