Overview

Cordelia is a dwarf moon of Uranus, discovered from the images taken by Voyager 2 probe on January 20, 1986. Cordelia was given the temporary designation S/1996 U 7, until its redetection by the the Hubble Space Telescope in 1997.

Like many other Uranian and Neptunian moons, Cordelia is named after works from the precursor Human named William Shakespeare.

Moon City

Since Cordelia attracted meager amounts of tourists despite its unusual shape, DomeCity CO, the corporation responsible for the Asteroid and Comet Habitats around the Sol System, decided to build a dome city for Cordelia. Its construction began in 7947, and ended in 8005. Since then, tourism has spiked, and leveled off to a sustainable amount per year. There are only few residents of Cordelia, who usually leave from time to time.
