Cosmic Cartographics
Cartography
High-quality maps for major worlds.
Cosmic Cartographers: Research Division
Cosmic Cartographics is a publicly-owned department of the Ambrosia Alliance of United Systems. Founded in 10,503 CE, Cosmic Cartographics is responsible for the creation and distribution of high-quality digital (and, for legacy or anniversary editions, physical) maps. Since its formation, CC has branched out to dozens of galaxies including (but not limited to) the Aylothn Galaxy, the Via Sagittaria, the Lewis Galaxy and all of the Thavma Assemblage. Over 500,000,000,000 free-to-use maps have been created and published by Cosmic Cartographics over the millenia, with 500 being part of the 60,503 CE "50K Anniversary Package". These 500 maps are all accurate down to the millimeter and show the surfaces of planets in extremely high resolution.
History
Founded in 10,503 by the Ambrosia Alliance of United Systems, Cosmic Cartographics has played a vital role in the mapping of countless worlds, systems and other astronomical objects. Originally intended to just map the Ambrosia galaxy, Cosmic Cartographics (CC) rapidly expanded into neighbouring galaxies and beyond.
