The Cult of the Last Star [Designation: ANTIPOLE] is a ultrareligious extinction cult centred around the worship of the [working name].

They have been considered a dangerous organisation by multiple governments with multiple leaders wanted across the solar system.

COLS has been responsible for multiple raids in the asteroid belt and kidnappings taking place across major settlements under looser control by one of the major powers of the solar system. It is alleged the many corporatocracies are harbouring members of COLS in order to increase instability in the region.

History

The exact history of COLS is not properly chronicled, however it is widely thought that COLS is a product of the anti-natalist/extinctionist movement that gained traction during the height of climage change panic. COLS is thought to have split off from the more moderate Gaia Initiative with future COLS members being "enlightened" by a misaligned AI created by the GI.

COLS members then proceeded to move offworld after Interpol found out about human trafficking operations taking place in the Middle East and North Africa. There it would settle among the 2nd wave miners within the asteroid belt, gaining a sizable following and avoiding interpol and other governmental organisations.

In the last days of the Capital Era many of the OUN's warships would be given to COLS to harass Martian, Jovian and Earther operations within the belt.
