Delta Andromedae Aa

A K3III-class Orange Giant star, in a 41 year long orbit with its partner, Ab. At least 3 planets orbit around this star, they are as follows.

Ocutrion: A Tidally-locked superterrestrial, with an ocean of lava on its star-facing side. The lava ocean breaks up into rivers and deltas as you near the twilight zone of the planet. The night side of the world strangley lacks these, being a pitch black, ashen wasteland in an eternal night.

Korillis: A small, gas giant, orbited by 11 moons, one of which, Delonna, is of high interest due to remains of possible life on its surface. Korillis is unusual that it blurs the line between being a gas giant and an ice giant. Although it bas most of the properties of being a gas giant, it has a hogh concentration of methane and H2O in its atmosphere, giving Korillis its distinct, hazy dark-blue appearance.

Rellision: An ice giant and furthest planet from Aa, it is orbited by 24 moons, one of which, Talision, is a candidate for potential colonisation due to the presence of liquid water on its surface. Rellision is for the msot part your typical ice giant, with a white, almost featureless appearance, and high speed winds in its atmosphere.

Delta Andromedae Ab

A K9V Orange dwarf star, orbited by two planets.

Strilkon: A hot, venus-like world around the size of the aforementioned planet. Much like Rellision it has a bland, uniform white appearance. One irregular moon, Stradikon, circles around it.

Akabin: A superterrestrial venusian world, with a crushing gravity of 2.5g. Likes its brother, Strilkon, Akabin is shrouded by a dense cloud cover, giving the planet an almost peachy appearance, which led to its nickname, "Giant Peach" during the initial expedition. It has one moon, Artribin, a small desert like world with a chalky surface.

Past Civilizations?

Traces of a past civilization have been found on Delonna and other nearby systems, this still unknown civilization has been named "Deltands" until a living representative will be found. Considering their nearby colonial remains, they were either wiped out by another civilization or completely migrated somewhere still beyond Humanity's current reach.
