Appearance
Standing at a measly 3 feet, four inches tall, and 8.9 feet long, Larkspur is the smallest member of apex. Larkspur is covered in mainly gray feathers, though her head and back feathers are black, and her face is white. Larkspur has piercing blood-red eyes, and she usually wears a pair of spectacles on her snout.
Personality
Larkspur is generally cranky and pedantic. She prefers to be left alone most of the time, but she is slowly becoming fond of her team members (though she vehemently denies that). Larkspur is also prone to the occasional manic or psychotic episode, due to the damage done to her psyche after an attempted assassination attempt by a rival who laced her tea with datura. As a result, Larkspur can occasionally be seen talking to inanimate objects (particularily her knives), as well as experiencing sudden mood swings.
Background
Born in 1983, Lark was considered to be a ‘gifted student’ from a young age, although she was known for being antisocial, and pulling stunts that frightened her fellow juveniles, leading her to not have any childhood friends aside from a female ceratosaurus named Caide, who protected Lark from bullying. Deeply fascinated with bioengineering, and filled with gender dysphoria, at the age of 15, Lark began creating and self-administering her own HRT, inducing her to transition from male to female. Impressed by her own work, Lark went on to become a talented bioengineer. After growing bored of the ethical and legal side of the bio science field, Lark turned towards the less legal side of the field, and began creating all sorts of things for clients who paid her top price. After a raid on her lab which she barely escaped,as well as an assasination attempt involving the insanely toxic datura flower, Lark was sheltered and provided with a lab by a local mob. In return, Lark created things for them, and was a (very) willing participant in interrogations and executions carried out by the mob, assisting them in their organ trafficking scandals. Eventually however, Lark was arrested and recruited by Paleoshield.
Abilities
Larkspur is a very talented bio scientist, being proficient in bioengineering especially. She is also quite knowledgable in the pharmacutical and toxicology fields. Lark is very proficient with a knife.
