Emily Greene is the granddaughter of Thaddeus Greene, she lives at the Finn Park Zoo, with her aunt Zora Greene and her fiance Aidan Briggs, but often travels between the different Greene Foundation parks. She has the ability to communicate with animals.
History
Emily Greene grew up in Maashkinoozhe Lake, Minnesota, in the middle of the city, a place she was not too fond of. But her mother, Lisa, wanted nothing to do with wanted nothing to do with the rest of her family, trying to separate herself from nature as much as possible. Unfortunately for her, Emily took after her grandfather and was absolutely entranced by the natural world, especially animals.
One day, while exploring Finn Park, she came across the crumbling ruins of the Finn Park Zoo, curious she wandered inside and spent the next hour or so exploring, until she came across the residents of the zoo that had been left behind so many years ago.
She brought the animals home with her in secret and attempted to hide them from her mother, which she succeeded at quite well, however she was less successful at keeping the creatures a secret from the landlord, who was enraged and kicked the Emily and her mother out of the building.
Personality
Thaddeus’s granddaughter and daughter of Lisa, Emily never really got to meet her grandfather, and Lisa intentionally kept the Greene Foundation and nearly all their family history from her. Additionally, despite her mother’s aversion to wildlife, Emily is enthralled by it, and even has the ability to talk with many animals. When she and her mom have to move in with her Aunt Zora and her Fiancé Aidan she is overjoyed to be living in a zoo and helping refurbish an old outdated one.
As a 12-year-old, Emily is curious, hyperactive and not-the-brightest at times, but she is a good kid who has as many great ideas as terrible ones. Often times its her child-like innocence and simple thinking that solves many of the problems her family face.
