Fae

Surrounding the Abyssreach at the centre of the Sky River, is a collection of regions known as the Fae Rest. This region is more consistent the closer one gets to the Abyssreach, but patchwork territories are scattered all across the Voidsea. These regions possess particularly dense concentrations of the Broadwave, and Taekni permeates literally every single facet of existence within them.

Regions within are difficult to navigate. According to those who are able to escape, the interior of the Fae Rest appears to morph and transform before their eyes. Anomalies and oddities are the norm, both on the surface of a Void Island, or within the Voidsea itself.

Within these regions reside the Fae.

It should be noted that the Fae should not be mistaken with the likes of Wytches, whom are beings that are infused with Taekni, existing as both that, and a physical form, merged into one. Nor should they be mistaken with the likes of the Gögna-Vaettr, which are beings made up of the Broadwave, and able to perform Taekni.

The Fae are Taekni.
