Fyrrirum

Fyrrirum is a satellite galaxy of the Sky River Cluster Gyre. It is one of the Twins of Time, along with Ørlogrum.

Colloquially, it is known as the Radio Galaxy, due to the fact that not long after it began to orbit the Sky River, a variety of signals began being transmitted from it.

Unlike many other galaxies that were attracted to the Thalweg via the Confluence, the Twins of Time both settled into equatorial orbits, far away enough to not be pulled into the Sky Shore, or the Sky River itself.

Fyrrirum has a unique, confusing, and existentially concerning relationship with the Sky River. It was known to have sapient life within it, capable of attempting communications across the vastness of the intergalactic Voidsea. It is connected to the Sky River by way of the Fornorn Wormhole.

Initial exploration did not suggest anything was amiss, and soon, permanent research facilities, and colonial ventures were underway.
