Gequ

Gequ is the 4th planet of the Seula Derqu System, and the only one to have a floating continent land space equivalent to all the land on the Earth and Luna.

Floating Worlds

In 123 921 CE, a question was asked by the members of the scientific community on many worlds; "How far can we go, with floating continents?" This question was answered 7223 years later, with the completion of a huge shell encasing the entire of a Small Gas Giant, equal in mass to the Earth, in the Triangulum Galaxy. Next step up, a Neptune sized world. Gequ was the perfect candidate, as it had an abundance of resources, as well as an appropriate land space. Currently, about 2.9332% of the planets visible surface is covered in floating continents, islands, worlds, moons, etc. the project is set to finish in the year 209 722 SE, with the entire planet looking like a "Earth-Giant", an entirely new class of planet.

Economy

Gequ mainly exports Helium-3, along with the other Gas Giants in the system, but its supply is running low. Without the monetary income for the planet, the government won't be able to pay people, and the Earth-Giant Project will fail, leaving huge uninhabited floating continents slowly drifting downwards.
