Ghoul Hunter
The Ghoul Hunters are an ancient organization of people with special abilities dedicated to protecting the rest of humanity from ‘paranormal’ threats as well as keeping peace between Human and the other races of Earth. Often involving preventing them from doing mischief.
As the name suggests Ghouls are the most frequent race a hunter has to deal with, as these devious folk very much enjoy playing "pranks" on Humanity, most of which can cause considerable harm to the victim.
The leader of this organization is the eponymous 'Ghoul Hunter' a person bestowed with extraordinary power
History
The Ghoul Hunter order once spanned the entire world since ancient times, with members of the order even aiding in the fight against Surtr and its army during Ragnarok.
But in the 1950's members of the order were mysteriously hunted down one by one until only the Ghoul Hunter himself, Bartholomew Jackson, was left. For the next 70 years he tried to track down the killer of the order and rebuild it, but ultimately he was overtaken by his duties to protect humanity and had no time to work on restoring anything.
The title was then passed to Jessie Hawkins who was similarly tasked with rebuilding the order
