The Great Armageddon, also known as the Fourth Earthen War, was fought in the Helios System from 2,225 to 2,226 CE. It mainly saw the deployment of nuclear weapons across Earth, while on a smaller scale, there was combat between human colonies on Selene, Mars, and the Galilean moons. It was the deadliest war in the history of mankind, killing 90% of all humans alive at the time. It also led to the total collapse of Earth’s civilizations; a new one would not arise planetside until the Federation of Vangelia arrived nearly four thousand years later.
