The Greek dolphin is a cetacean from the Mediterranean Sea, known from several sightings reported by W. F. J. Mörzer Bruyns, who also reported the Alula whale, Illigan dolphin, and Senegal dolphin. It resembles  both the striped dolphin (Stenella coeruleoalba) and the cryptic Senegal Dolphin.

The Greek dolphin closely resembles the related striped dolphin (Stenella coeruleoalba), a common Mediterranean dolphin, but lacks that species' distinctive black stripes. It is dirty white in color, with smoky brownish and grey smudges behind the dorsal fine, a white underside, a brown dorsal area, and a white streak on its side. It is also smaller and heavier than a striped dolphin, short and plump, with a rather short and stout snout.

They travel in pods of up to fifty individuals, but more commonly just two to ten, and can reach speeds of up to fifteen knots. Greek Dolphins hunt mostly in deep waters.

The Greek Dolphin is classified as Endangered, suffering from rising sea temperatures, pollution and overfishing
