Green City is a large city located in north-western Minnesota. Green City is well known for its eco-friendly design. Running almost entirely on renewable energy, and blending nature with architecture almost seamlessly.
History
Green City was founded in 1877, originally it was a small farming community, most of the land being taken up by Corn and Soybean crops or pastures for Dairy Cattle.
In the modern-era much of the surrounding land is still dominated by farms.
In 1998 Green City started it's city redevelopment plan, in which it would begin implementing many of the eco-friendly practices the city is now famous for.
