Greene Foundation
The Greene Foundation, also known as the Greene Family Conservation Foundation or simply Greene is a company founded in 1956 by Thaddeus Greene, who after being effectively shunned from the scientific community for his seemingly impossible and far-fetched claims, became an incredibly popular wildlife presenter. Starting as a humble ranch in his hometown of Green City, with a few exotic animals where he could shoot his documentary programs, he raised enough money to open 14 state-of-the-art animal parks around the world, with more constantly on the way or being bought out.
For the Greene Foundations first two decades or so of existence it was a successful, but not necessarily extraordinary company. That was until the mid-eighties when Greene Foundation scientists discovered the secrets to time travel. No longer exclusive to science fiction the Greene Foundation went back in time to rescue prehistoric creatures from extinction and bring them back to modern times to allow the long gone wonders of evolution to continue their lineages and entrance humanity for generations to come. But after hundreds of prehistoric animals were brought back a mated pair of adult Acrocanthosaurus ran rampant through the streets of a small town in Oklahoma. Bringing lots of negative press and mass hysteria to the rescued creatures. As such the creatures, now at home in the 21st century were kept in secret, the Greene Foundation going to great lengths to keep their existences a secret.
History
The Greene Foundation is an organization focused on the conservation of all species, it was created by Thaddeus Greene in the 40s. It started when Thaddeus converted the ranch he grew up on into a thriving wild animal park on the outskirts of Green City, Minnesota.
Soon after he struck a deal with a local TV network to create a documentary series where he and his best friend Theodore Kilroy would travel to remote locations around the world, a few of which were not thought to exist by scientists at the time. The show was wildly popular and made Thad a lot of money. He would also bring smaller animals he captured back to the zoo with him. Soon, with the funds from the wildlife park and documentary, Thaddeus was able to upgrade and renovate the park as well as buy more land, to convert into new zoos and nature reserves. He also bought existing parks from other people. Eventually by the 1980s there were over 25 parks owned and operated by the Greene Foundation exponentially increasing revenue for the foundation, allowing for more elaborate and expensive projects.

De-extinction
Main Article: De-extinction Conservation by the Greene Foundation
While the existence of prehistoric wildlife brought to the 21st century has been kept a closely guarded secret by the Foundation. Greene has publicly revealed the de-extinction of many species. Most of which have only gone extinct within the last 10,000 years or so.
These species can be found kept on public display in many Greene Foundation Parks, as well as having been reintroduced to protected areas within their native home range.
The roughly 230 species range from insects and snails to mammoths, with the majority being species once found in the Americas and Pacific.
