Guiamala
Docile creatures resembling a cross between a camel and a giraffe, they are close relatives of the Sivatherium. Their docility makes them good pack animals.
The species is native to Western Africa, specifically Ghana, Nigeria, Cameroon, Togo and Benin but due to colonial influence the species is nearly extinct.
They are large, with some males reaching 20 feet in height. Despite their size Guiamala can run at 30 mph and are surprisingly graceful. They possess seven sharp ‘horns’ that they can use for defense, their skulls are also hard and thick, which is protects their (admittedly tiny) brains when they swing their head like a mace at predators or rivals.
They feed on a wide variety of vegetation, including thorny acacias.
