Hasteria
Description
Hasteria is a Dwarf Ring Galaxy in close orbit to Tarmalyula in Amoeni Space. It is the third largest galaxy within Amoeni Space in terms of diameter, but the smallest in terms of stars, containing 500 million stars, compared to Lance's 754 million.
Hasteria is one of the hardest galaxies to enter using sub-light travel, due to the many hazards in the way, such as Stars, massive asteroid fields and hostile nations.
Known History
Hasterian historians generally divide its history into 4 main sections
Early Era, and the Mors Omnium Event
Hasteria formed along side the Eulciar, Tarmalyula and Lance Galaxies. It is still unclear how Hasteria was born, as very little evidence exists of 2 galaxies colliding with each other, so its actual formation is mysterious, we just know it happened. Life on some worlds managed to pop up, but very few are able to get in the space age when the Mors Omnium event wiped out all life across Amoeni Space.
Stellar, Silent and Early Life Era
Billions of years of continuous star explosions left many worlds, especially within the Ring barren or destroyed, leaving Hasteria similarly devastated like its bigger brother, the Eulciar Galaxy. At some point in time, The Utopia colonized all of Amoeni, including Hasteria, albeit with some issues. The Utopians colonized the expansions, as well as the Outer Ring Worlds, but struggled to enter into the rim, abeit being a temporary setback, they soom penetrated and colonized the Ring and Inner Ring Worlds, and soon spreading within the Central and Core Worlds. The rapid fall of the Utopia left many worlds with life, eventually evolving and adapting to their new homes.
Mass Exodus Era
From an unknown world in the Western Quadrant of the Central Worlds , a highly xenophobic species rapidly rose up and began conquering planets and massacring their inhabitants. Within a few centuries, most of the Western Quadrant was under their control. Fearing extinction many species, including 3 minor, yet influential species, the Havonians, Cemayans and Thandetians built massive colony ships and successfully escaped Hasteria, with many escaping into the Jewel Cluster of Eulciar and the safety of the EUN, while others escaping into Tarmalyula. The Unnamed species would eventually lose momentum, and the remaining Hasterian Species fought back and destroyed their entire civilization, a few of the members would escape into the Jewel Cluster and eventually evolve into the Volvorans.
