The geography of Hocestetiamipsa is one massive flat surface covered in piratically endless layers of frozen moss-like organisms. Small hills, and impact craters are known to exist on the surface as well.

Large cracks and ridges are spread across the entire surface, with the moss like life of the dwarf planet lining the cracks walls. These are caused due to the shifting of the dwarf planet's tectonic plates.

Now, thanks to the C.Y.R.E.X the surface of Hocestetiamipsa is one, large, jagged and cracked ice plain.

The climate of Hocestetiamipsa is unbearably cold at -253 degrees Celsius, it is to the point that it would be too much for almost any *known* life form. This is due to its nature as a rogue planet, with no parent star to warm it.

Its thin atmosphere also produces a lot of this cold as well, with it raining small ice flakes every standard minute of what could be described as its days.

The population of Hocestetiamipsa would be massive, and this is thanks to the Noctis-Umbra's nature, as they would be born at an extreme rate. At the species' peak, the population of the small world would be eight quadrillion, causing the native Noctis-Umbra to find unorthodox ways to support their massive numbers. These included underground colonies, large sky scrappers reaching into space that could hold hundreds of millions each, and floating satellite colonies all around the dwarf planet.

The entire world's population would be made of members of the Noctis-Umbra species, as they did not want any other species to "sully" their home world with their presence. This caused the world to be very illusive to other member species of [[the Etymology]], to the point that various folklore would be created for the dwarf planet.

The collective culture of Hocestetiamipsa would function identically to the inborn personalities and sensibilities of all Noctis-Umbra, and due to them being the only tenants of the world, that shouldn't come as a shock. And this culture would be made up of altruistic ideals of the benefit and advancement of the Noctis-Umbra people. As well as an aversion towards any who were not Noctis-Umbra.

This cultural attitude would mostly remain the same for the entirety of time that the Noctis-Umbra existed on the world. However once Mystara took control of her native species, all Noctis-Umbra would swear fealty to her, and defer all cultural and governmental matters to her.

The life of Hocestetiamipsa would be made up of countless organisms that take the appearance, form and overall nature of Bryophyta, more commonly known as: "moss". This aforementioned life would cover the entire surface of the world, as well as tunneling itself in the endless subglacial depths of the dwarf planet, layering itself in seemingly infinite layers. How this life could form on a world this cold is unknown, however theories abound exist.
