The Imperial State of Larosnia is an bureaucratic polity that is the successor to the Larosnian Republic and hegemon in Via Aylathiya. It is an active participant and social arbitrator in galactic affairs. yet is known for its tainted history and shallow record of political and social rights. It is a fledgling nation population-wise, as through its various reforms over milleniums it has been able to achieve a population of 12 trillion in all of its commanderies and provinces. Its capital is Larosnium, namesake for the Empire and cultural, practical, administrative and social capital.
Larosnia enjoys a insurmountably diverse population but remaining hegemonic in core areas. With a welcoming government that has toned down its xenophobic tendencies, it has increasingly targeted dissidents with violations of social rights instead of foreign groups. Humans remain a majority of the Empire and are represented the most in local and civil elections. The national currency is the haero.
A majority of the population speaks Reformed Larosnian, a state language effectively mandated by Empress Iulia in 72,000 CE in the days after she declared the Empire. It is the language for civil elections, schooling, political affairs, main and popular literature and propaganda. Chirhomaic is also spoken alongside Reformed Larosnian, yet is only active where it is based, in the Chirosna province.

The government takes no role in the society predominantly other than suppressing dissidents and opposing "enemies of the state". Free press is spearheaded but is coated with a layer of alliance to the Volustates as they refuse to report on dissidenting incidents or anti-government protests in a non-biased way. However in far-reached lands of the Empire it is unable to keep control of these offences in a particularly effective and have established autonomous regions to curtail rebellion.
The society is mandated and domineered by class systems, as plebeians dominate the larger populace, also influenced by the press. The plebeians are mostly native Larosnian, as other ethnic groups and species are denied citizenship and are given a "foreign" profile and documentation.
Government
