Iz’ud

Dinosaur-like reptilians, known for their disgusting appearances, native to Tethys 3, with a strange symbiotic relationships with hundreds of smaller parasitic creatures. Which they can release from inside themselves and use their abilities or even use them as tools and weapons.

History

Evolving in the bogs and deep, mucky canyons of southeastern Othopa, 6 million years ago, the ancestral Iz’ud species was forced to deal with the thousands of horrific parasitic creatures that abound in the regions even today.

This species evolved special organs to harbor the creatures, feeding them excess nutrients and waste, then in return the parasites could be used as tools by the Iz’ud

Culture

Iz’ud culture revolves almost entirely around parasites, including but not limited to professional sparring, showcasing, collecting and trading

Appearance and Biology

Iz’ud resemble a cross between a toad, Ankylosaur and raptor, having a lean physique that is often shrouded by armor, poisonous warts and parasite-and-pus filled pockets of flesh

The Iz’ud have a mouth full of snaggled, needle-like teeth, which are useful for catching and eating the variety of swamp creatures they feed on.

An Iz’ud’s hands and feet are both partially webbed which give them greater mobility in water.
