Jersey Devils are opportunistic carnivores, hunting down and eating any animal smaller than themselves including Humans. They are territorial, claiming a large swathe of woodland as their territory and announcing to other devils using a high-pitched scream. While tolerant of other predators like Coyotes, wolves and bears they are extremely aggressive towards Snallygasters, should the two species meet they will engage in a violent, often deadly conflict.
History
Jersey Devils proved themselves to be a problem for the European settlers who arrived in North America as they proved to be easy targets for hungry Devils. To combat these allegedly paranormal creatures, Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Franklin formed the M.Y.T.H.O.S. organization to protect the people and conceal all strange or paranormal phenomena.
