Jeweled lungs

Jeweled lungs is an airborne disease, it is a fine dust formed from crushed fragments a rare type of quartz. Once inhaled the dust makes its way to the victim’s lungs where it starts growing small clumps as it slowly makes its way back out of the victim, growing all along their body until the victim simply can’t handle the sheer amount of crystals growing on them or suffocates from the crystals blocking their respiratory system. Once the victim perishes the crystals completely takeover the body covering it entirely. This is where it’ll sit until broken off into more dust and starting the agonizing cycles again.
