Kepler-438 b is an A-type planet located about 600 light years away from Earth that orbits around its parent star, Kepler-438. It was discovered by human astronomers in 2015 and later became a target for interstellar missions. The first manned mission landed in 2580 and became the foundations for the planet's first human colony.

Overview
As the colony expanded, terraforming plans were drafted. The temperature was 126 C, too hot for Earth life. The plans came into effect, with the air pressure rising to 1 ATM and the temperatures dropping to 16[deg]C. Earth life was transported to Kepler-438 b and the planet became more hospitable.
As of 100000 CE, the planet remains under control from the United Federation of Star Systems. The human population, however, have grown taller and appear thinner due to the weaker gravity. Upon the arrival of the first humans, they discovered relics of the First Civilisation, leading to more scientific studies. Once the relics were fully examined, they were given to local museums, which showcase them to the public, making museums are top tourist spot on the planet.
