Klaus Nerian

Born from the La Brea Tar Pits, Klaus Nerian is a Dark Sludge like Being comprised entirely of Tar and the remains of various Creatures that died in the Pools. After obtaining a human form he joined the CTG and soon became a high ranking Member of the Organization.

History

In 1993, construction of the LA metro caused a small pocket of Primordial Ooze to be released into the ground of Hancock Park, where it made contact with the Tar Pits. The Ooze fused The Tar and Various Animal Bodies within it, into a new organism, which would develop slowly in the pits, eventually gaining the ability to expand itself, growing a long system of roots under the area, which it used to capture living beings and devour them. It soon began targeting people, desiring a human form for itself, causing the disappearances of Seven, thus it finally obtained a Human form and was able to blend in with Society, giving himself a Name and Identity. 3 years later He would Discover and begin working for the CTG, quickly raising thru the ranks due to him being what he is.

Physical Appearance

In Human form, Klaus is a tall, well-built man with shortish Brown-Black hair, that while curly is often stylized and cut to look professional. He is usually seen wearing dark colored business suits, and holds himself high and professionally.

In his true form, He is a large black mass of Tar, with various Animal Pieces emerging and receding from it. His head is typically a Dire Wolf skull with two large Elk antlers. His front limbs are made up of ground sloths hands, and his back limbs those of camels. His physical form is unstable causing him to drip and bubble, this also forces him to occasionally twitch in order to pull his mass back in.

Personality

Intelligent and charismatic, Klaus is as professional as they come, taking a great deal of pride in his work and ability. His confidence and negotiation skills are evident, and his reliability makes him one of The CTG's best.
