	Koralai are a strange Kinde, as they fundamentally do not make a distinction between their homeworld and themselves - Though each possesses a degree of individuality that they place a high degree of value on, they ultimately see themselves as mere extensions of Yavalith. This is in part due to their anatomy - Being made of coral, an individual is infect, not an individual - But hundreds of thousands of polyps. These polyps all have individual thoughts, which are transmitted via their equivalent of a neural network - These all coalesce to form the 'Individual' Koralai, making each individual a hive-mind onto themselves. These same processes are present on Yavalith, meaning that each Koralai can connect their own thoughts directly to that of the world, creating a Void-Island spanning mentality. the end result is many coming to view themselves not as fully autonomous individuals, but as members of a collective, designed to protect Yavalith.

There are two self-proclaimed 'Varieties' of Koralai - The Kukako Variety, which are a more Humanoid version of the Kinde, and the Vukava Variety, which are a more crab-like version. The Kukako Variety are usually placed in more dexterity-requiring roles, which the Vukava are in roles requiring strength and resilience - Usually as warriors, or colonization operates for their many asteroid operations. Most roles within their society will see both present.
