MW-CC Claymore Combat Mech
"Adjectives commonly used to describe the Claymore include: Unwieldy, Lumbering, Lethargic, and Slothlike."
The MW-CC Claymore Combat Mech is one of the first mechs wielded by the Aeno. Covered in ugly ablative armor panels, it has a sluggish max speed, and even slower reaction time. It wields two capable autocannons in each of it's arms. The mech was designed to stop enemy tanks in their tracks, and then stomp them to dust. The autocannons were backups in case of enemy mechs showing up.
However, there is one weakness enemy mech pilots discovered. If you got behind the Claymore, the HE ammo reserves were stored in the arms, and there was a hole in the armor, which allowed pilots to easily destroy the mech. Later iterations of the Claymore fixed this issue, but it still plagues the last remaining mechs used by mercenary companies.
It is the most frequently used mech fielded in the First Aeno-Vasden War, and arguably the most successful. The most decorated mech lance of the entire war, the Iron Sentinels, fielded 3 Claymores.
