Independence - 2162

In 2162 after heavy pressure from Martian Diplomats, specifically American ones, the "UN martian governing body" and many other martian independent states would come to form the newly created Martian republic, however the rammifications of this were severe with the New Martian government being fractured, with multiple visions of the republic clashing. This created a gap for the remaining independent states - namely Corprate "freestates" and OUN backed cells to attempt to seize power in the young republic. Culminating in the [capital] coup where roughly 5,000 mercinaries of the [name] PMC to attempt and fail to hold the building hostage, with most participating being arrested or fleeing before capture.

The Martian Civil war - 2163-2166

The [name] coup would result in a crisis culminating in a multi-side civil war primarily between [FACTION A], [FACTION B] and [FACTION C] claiming to be the legitimate government of all, or sometimes a large portion of Mars while states like the Provisional Republic of Phobos and Deimos Free-State remained Neutral.

After the signing of the Treaty of Deimos, the [TBD] would take power within the Martian Republic reestablishing democratic institutions based upon the United States in Exile's governmental system. This "American inspired system" would not only become its laws, it would greatly affect the culture of the Martian people, pushing more American values onto the Chinese and Indian citizens within the Martian Republic's sphere.
