Overview

Medianmynt is a scorchingly hot superferria orbiting within the HIP 40487 system, located on the outskirts of the Milky Way galaxy. An incredibly dense atmosphere and a close orbit around its red-giant sun give it a strong greenhouse effect, comparable to the (now formerly) Ae-class planet Venus.

The planet is believed to have been discovered within the late 2120 decade after an emergency fuel-scoop operation was attempted by the exploration shuttle EX-Io of ExplorationCorp.

The resulting failure and crash of exploration shuttle EX-Io has been a source of controversy and cover-up within ExplorationCorp, which had previously used its spotless record as a source of attraction for possible employees.
