Milo Lagine

Milo Lagine is a mutant Human that was made into a merperson by Slimsnout Lagine using genetic engineering and Primordial Ooze. Milo considers Slimsnout to be his mother, even if the feeling isn't mutual.

History

Milo was created in 2001 by Dr. Slimsnout Lagine, who combined a very precisely constructed genome consisting of human and false killer whale DNA, and exposed it to primordial ooze. Despite the apprehensiveness of M.Y.T.H.O.S. staff, with the help of the ooze, Milo formed exactly how Lagine envisioned, resembling a mermaid. Milo grew and matured at the same rate as a normal human, but due to Lagine being the main one taking care of, and examining Milo, he assumed she was his mother. Lagine didn't share this sentiment, but she felt some pity for him, and it was true she technically created him, so she just accepted it.

As Milo grew he was allowed relatively free range of the facility, where he befriended various other subjects and staff there. Milo likes the facility, but he does often think about the world beyond.

Personality

Milo is kind and thoughtful, but also quite shy around individuals he doesn't know well. Milo also sometimes has to deal with anxiety, partly as a result of his "mother's" cynical and nihilistic behavior. Unlike Slimsnout, Milo does not hold these views, in fact he's rather optimistic and friendly towards most people.

Appearance

Milo resembles a mermaid from mythology. He is about 6 meters long, and weighs about 2,300 kg. Where the hips would normally start, instead there is the body of a false killer whale. Milo's skin is dark gray and his hair is back.
