Necroambulian

Appearing like rotting corpses, Necroambularians are native to Helheim. They are a race of brutal and savage fighters. They can withstand frigid conditions and are completely unaffected by cryogenic attacks.

They are able to push themselves into an adrenaline-fueled state in which they cannot feel pain and their strength increases tenfold, however it puts tremendous strain on their brains and so during that time they have limited brain function.

History

The Necroambulians were conscripted in the Celestial Being Surtr’s army to fight in the war against life on the World Tree, aka Ragnarok. Where they assisted Surtr, the Fire Giants of Muspelheim and the Daemonians of Niflheim in driving the Aesir and Vanir into extinction and would have similarly wiped out Humanity were it not for the efforts of the Jotnar of Earth in driving them off the planet.

During Ragnarok 90% of the Necroambulian population was killed, the remaining 10% were transported back to Hel, where they have struggled to effectively repopulate, and are threatened with extinction.
