"Today we celebrate the arrival of our kind in the Galaxy of Infinite Wonder; Ambrosia, and the discovery of our motherland, Haven. Though we have faced many hardships, suffered many losses, and celebrated many victories, we have proved our endless resolve to the wider universe. Let us strive to uphold the values of friendship and compassion that brought us to this wondrous land. Let us create safe haven to all." - William Tancard

New Haven is the fourth planet of the Comistatus System in the Mid Arm of the Ambrosia Galaxy. It was originally a temperate desertic terra before becoming the temperate terra we see today thanks to the use of terraforming. It was also subject to landscaping technology, molding the planet into the image of planet Haven.

Overview

New Haven stands as the first of its like in the Ambrosia Galaxy, as it was the first world to be changed into the exact image of the capital world of humanity in the Ambrosia Alliance of United Systems, planet Haven of the Hope System. Thanks to this, New Haven is very famous among the aforementioned civilization's populace, leading it to have a very large population.

Before it was terrashaped, New Haven was known as planet: "Wheravupher" of the Comistatus System, the first star system to be colonized by the Ambrosia Alliance at the government's founding. Thanks to its symbolic nature, and near identical diameter to Haven, it would be chosen on January 1st 20,265 CE, the ten thousandth anniversary of humanity's entry of the and colonization of Haven at the end of the Great Expansion. Unlike the planet it is modeled after, New Haven only has one surface colony, the city of: "Mother-Haven" Located at the absolute center of the planet's vast oceans, leaving the mirror continents of the planet to the mercy of the flora and fauna that inhabits them in order to make amends to the damage done to Haven throughout the Alliance's history.

After it was completed, New Haven would become extremely famous, and such processes of vanity became a much more common practice in the Ambrosia Alliance, with even several other clones of Haven being created across Ambrosia.

Geography

Since New Haven is modeled after the image of planet Haven, the overall geography is almost an exact mirror image of that of its inspiration, with it having several: "mirror continents" modeled after the seven continents of Haven.

Along with the continents themselves, all of the famous surface features of Haven such as its many snowy mountain ranges, vast tundras and deserts, endless deep forests, massive cargo volcanoes, and countless islands have been replicated as well.

However, thanks to the Ambrosia Alliance's non-interventionist nature towards New Haven, subtle differences are known across the planet, as certain forests are wider than their counterpart, and the planet's ice caps are larger since there is far less greenhouse effect inflicted on it.

As well, certain destroyed areas of Haven, such as the Flefor Wastes have been recovered during the creation, amending damage not even caused by them.

Climate

Like the geography, the overall climate of New Haven is identical to that of Haven, however slight differences have been done to its atmospherics. For starters, a slightly larger concentration of oxygen and nitrogen has been introduced to the atmosphere, in order to make the planet better suit for Haven-Born life then Haven itself.

Along with the introduction of desired elements, certain areas of the planet's two icy continents have been warmed ever so slightly to allow fauna to inhabit these aforementioned regions as they are unable to on Haven proper.

Culture

The culture of New Haven is very human-centric. Human pride fills all who live on the planet, as the planet itself stands as an ultimate symbol of human accomplishment. Each day, the populace of New Haven says aloud the Ambrosia Alliance pledge of corporation, and each home waves the three flags that represent the planet's creation. The Intergalactic flag of Humanity, the flag of the Ambrosia Alliance of United Systems. And the flag of the Haven Guard.

Most of the planet's populace has been described by extra planetary visitors as extremely friendly to all they interact with, embodying the sometimes overly idealistic spirit of the Ambrosia Alliance of United Systems. And unlike most peoples' first assumptions, they are extremely accommodating to other species, as bot all of the population is that of human.

Population

Due to how famous the planet of New Haven is to humans inhabiting the Ambrosia Galaxy, it has an absolutely massive population of around ten billion, all concentrated in the singular floating city of Mother-Haven, and as previously stated, the vast majority of this aforementioned population is human, though small pockets of other Ambrosia Alliance member species live in the city as well.

In some circumstances, private individuals have decided to violate the laws implemented by the Ambrosia Alliance of United Systems and take residence in the unclaimed continents, living in small cabins, usually lacking the modern amenity's those who live in the city have access to, including even the basic form of electricity. As the planet's surface is pure unclaimed land, certain peoples are willing to take the risk in order to have a complete escape from the galaxy at large.

In even rarer circumstances, small communities of these kinds of people have managed to form, however these are usually avoided to not attract attention by the planet's law enforcement.L

Life

The life of New Haven, like all things about the planet, belongs to that of those born of Haven. Each and every currently living life form of Haven, save for the Havelmorthum have been imported to the world over time.

However, unlike most worlds in the Ambrosia Alliance, flora and or fauna that are foreign to planet Haven have been disallowed completely, save for intelligent species, a practice that is not accepted by all, as there are countless extra planetary species in the Alliance's domain that can thrive in Haven-like environments.

History

Pre-Alliance History

The planet that we would come to know as New Haven full formed in 6,680,624,006 BCE from the planetary accretion disk created during the formation of its parent star, Comistatus. As it cooled from its formation, it would have a large carbon-dioxide atmosphere encircling a vast rocky desert, eventually becoming a full desertic terra in 6,450,903,080 BCE.

Throughout a large part of its history, the planet would be left untouched by any intelligent species, even the Vyssi-Wing that inhabited its sister-world of Visred would not lay claim to the planet. But this would all change when it fell under the domain of the late Type Three civilization, the Etymology, as they would discover the Comistatus System in 3,320,887,087 BCE, placing the Vyssi-Wing into their fold. However, since the planet held very little resources, and the Vyssi-Wing themselves could not live on the weather-beaten planet, only small settlements with thousands at most would be established on the planet's surface. And after the Red Galaxy Event, these settlements would be destroyed completely.

Alliance History

After the end of the Ugnara Wars, the newly formed Ambrosia Alliance of United Systems would begin to colonize nearby star Systems once again, and with the discovery of the Comistatus System, and the relatively habitable world of Visred, the Ambrosia Alliance would set off to colonize the system. However like the Etymology before them, they would find the planet to not be worth the expense of colonization. Even with terraforming, the infinitely more interesting and habitable Visred killed any interest in the idea.

In 19,900 CE, the Department of Galactic Nature Conservation wanted to coordinate the creation of a clone-world of Haven to the exact date of humanity's arrival in the Ambrosia Galaxy, and thus, they would begin to search the star systems on the Ambrosia Alliance's domain to find the perfect candidate.

While there were thousands of good choices, they would find that Wheravupher met all the classifications they were looking for. Its diameter was almost exactly the same as Haven's, it was the fourth planet in the system much alike the aforementioned planet, and it would stand as a symbolic figure thanks to the Comistatus System being the first star system colonized by the Ambrosia Alliance of United Systems at their respective founding. Thus, they would begin to terraform the world immediately, fishing the terraforming process in 20,099 CE, and finishing the landscaping process in 20,265 CE, the exact date of humanity's arrival on planet Haven. Wheravupher itself would be renamed to: "New Haven" in acknowledgment to this historic event.
