The Nitza Cluster, sometimes known as Nitza Space, is a region located inside the Virgo Supercluster, about 42 million light years from the Via Lactea, that is gravitationally bound between 21 galaxies; five of which are considered significant members. It is about 10 million light years in size, and borders the cosmic void.
Overview
The five largest galaxies constitute their own military axis; often referred to as the Nitza Stronghold. While bound by both gravitational and diplomatic bonds, the Nitza Stronghold is a unified entity that can be called upon for assistance should it become necessary. In addition to its own military power, it has an extensive network of outposts spread throughout the cluster, which are used for trade, research and other purposes.
Each galaxy has a vast collection of sentient and non-sentient life. In Ammeria, the United Planets' reigns supreme, with its furthest colonies reaching into enclaves in each major galaxy.
