Ambrosia Core

Novad is a low-mass brown dwarf in the Mid Arm region of the Ambrosia Galaxy. It has a large amount of Noctillius in it, presumably coming via panspermia. However other than that, it is pretty standard when it comes to brown dwarfs, although it does have some exoplanets.

It has also been famed for its magnificent pink aurora that spread far into space and never seemingly lose their luminosity, making it quite the sight for Ambrosian sightseers.

Discovery

It would be discovered by the Ambrosia Alliance of United Systems in 10,789 CE, and they would take note of the strikingly beautiful aurora instantly, thus they would begin to study the brown dwarf further. During their tests, they took note of the brown dwarf's inconsistent heat patterns, which would be caused by the abundance of Noctillius that lived within the star.

To test how cool the colder regions of the star were, they would send a remote control probe to investigate. Upon puncturing the top layer of the star's chromosphere, they would discover vast oceans of Noctillius thriving on the star, the most discovered by the Ambrosia Alliance at that time. Thanks to this amazing discovery, they would begin to mine the countless Noctillius materiel. And due to the star's native plaentary system's worlds being far too dark and cold to house the Noctillius an artificial floating colony would be created above the star's northern pole to process the gathered Noctillius materiel named: "Rosea Sphaeram"
